Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Hall 4

Care Expo Brisbane is being held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Hall 4. Hall 4 is located on the corner of Merivale & Melbourne Streets end of the complex in South Brisbane QLD 4101. 

Venue Entries

The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre Car Park has multiple entrances, one on Grey Street (rear) and the main entrance on the corner of Merivale and Glenelg Streets. Access to the venue concourse is via the car park lift or stairs.

Parking at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre:

The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre has 1,500 undercover parking spaces which can be accessed off Merivale Street. All three car parks are available for the duration of the event.

Designated accessible parking bays are available in all three of our car parks.  They are located close to the car park lifts and enable access to the Exhibition Concourse and Merivale Street Foyer.

Car Park 1: 4 designated spaces, Car Park 2: 13 designated spaces, Car Park 3: 12 designated spaces.

Per vehicle car parking rates start at $15.00 for up to 2 hours, $20.00 for up to 3 hours, $25.00 for up to 4 hours, over 4 hours is $35.00 and the max daily rate is $35.00

Special: Early Bird Parking for $16.00 if you enter before 9am, and exit between 3pm-6pm (Monday – Friday only).

Payment for parking is available by tap & pay at the exits or you can pay before returning to your vehicle, by utilising one of the 13 parking pay stations conveniently located adjacent to the car park lifts and also on adjacent to Russell Walk.

Brisbane Accommodation

Brisbane offers a wide range of international standard accommodation.

The city has numerous hotels with more than 21,000 rooms from leading five-star hotels to serviced apartments to bed and breakfast accommodation options. There are two major hotels located adjacent to the Centre.

Translink Information (Public Transport)

For Care Expo Brisbane 2024 – all services are 50 cents for the duration of the journey (including transfers).

Train:

The South Brisbane Train Station is only a few minutes walk away from the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. If you are travelling from the airport the Air Train service operates from both Brisbane International and Domestic airports regularly.

The South Brisbane Train Station is services by the following trains:

  •  Airport – Gold Coast Line – Yellow
  • Beenleigh – Ferny Grove Line – Red
  • Shorncliffe – Cleveland Line – Blue

 

Please note that the Dutton Park station is temporarily closed for Cross River Rail head works.

Bus:

The Free Loop bus service only circles Brisbane’s Central Business District, Spring Hill and West End. The new South Brisbane (West End) Loop may be useful, as it services the following stops:

  • GOMA-Gallery of Modern Art
  • Queensland Theatre
  • Davies Park
  • Brisbane Back Packers Resort
  • Brisbane State High School
  • South Bank
  • South Brisbane Station.


Go-Card or Cashless payments only accepted on the Brisbane network (excluding free loop services).

Ferry:

River services from the  University of Queensland to North Shore Hamilton and all stops in between. 

Both terminals are located just near the Brisbane Eye on Clem Jones Promenade. – Walking distance to Convention Centre is approximately 750m.

Taxi:

There is a taxi rank located at the main entrance of the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on the corner of Merivale and Glenelg Streets. You are also able to find taxis in other locations within the South Bank precinct.
